About EON:
Set many moons ago, the four elements of Air, Water, Earth and Fire are brought together by the Great Spirit. A brand new world is born. Heart and Spirit help a fantastical community of magical creatures who evolve from positive energy; they are good and completely carefree. They are not alone, however. From a parallel dimension, Evil enters to introduce a 'dark side' to the world, one that cares only for capturing, assimilating or imprisoning the pre-human magical creatures. Finally, through resistance, courage and love, Good triumphs over Evil, leading to the dawn of human consciousness and all its potential.

Les Ateliers Turcotte has mounted six previous original productions, most recently The Enchanted Forest (2004), Carabesque (2006), and Imaginarium (2008). This is the first time that the studio will be performing in the Eric MacLean S.J. Centre for the Performing Arts at Loyola High School.

“With most of our students coming from the West End, it is a blessing to be able to perform our original work in the neighbourhood, thanks to the Eric Maclean S.J. Centre”, “Most of our students and supporters are from the West End, so being able to present our production so close to “home” is much more convenient then traveling downtown for everybody involved”, “I love living in NDG! When I moved to Montreal to attend Concordia University’s BFA in Contemporary Dance in 1991, I fell in love with and lived in the Loyola Campus area! I haven’t left the NDG area since!” said Ms. Turcotte.

Ms. Turcotte is beloved by parents and students alike for her warm and positive approach to dance instruction, and is known for her contagious enthusiasm. She has taught hundreds of children, adolescents and adults over the years.
