SPECIAL CARNIVAL EVENT. On October 10, 2003, the Invisible Cities Group collaborated with the NDG-based organization, HEAD & HANDS on a special benefit performance in aid of local youth, held at Club Kola Note.

THE BIG BANG: A CKUT Co-presentation. This event featured performances by Mona Lisa & Leonardo, Josh Cowan, Jens Christina Justinussen, Cristina Perissinotto, Cher Neill and others. Artist Salgood Sam created spontaneous artwork as part of the evening’s events. A total of nine performances all showcasing the diversity and originality of our group members through music, poetry, comedy and drama.

VOICES FROM THE CITY. A CKUT co-presentation. Special guest singer/song-writers Cher Neill, Eric James & Kris Alvarez, and a book signing by poet Carolyn Marie Souaid. Ilona Martonfi of the Yellow Door also graced our stage with her fine poetry.Also presenting were performers Moxxy, Raquel Rivera and Josh Cowan, Anik Lemieux, Jane Sorensen and Christina Manolescu. Over 50 people attended this event. We had an author signing, book/CD sale during the intermission and a display of our own promotional literature as well. A number of people commented on the variety and diversity of the performances.

SPIRIT TRAVELS. An evening of Music, Comedy, Spoken word and Story-Telling hosted by the Invisible Cities Group. Performing were Mona Lisa and Leonardo, Josh Cowan, Rachel Rivera, Vivian Unger, Tamra Steen, Christina Manolescu and special guest, folk singer, Cher Neill. Invisible Cities Chapbook, Volume 2, Spirit Travels, was sold as part of the entry fee.

HUNGER, A Benefit Performance & Chapbook Sale in aid of Oxfam. Invisible Cities Chapbook, Volume 1, Hunger, was sold as part of the entry fee This event was a co-production with Tracks of the Ox Haiku, featuring Angela Leuck and Andre Cook Jolicoeur, as well as special guest from Toronto, Mark Rubinoff. Our other performers were Mona Lisa Chanda, Leonardo de Luca, Cristina Perissinotto (our group's co-organizer), Vivian Unger and Kiki Bakshi.
