8-week workshop in writing, led by Ann Diamond, through October 2007

Author: Christina - Published 2007-09-16 17:45 - (1642 Reads)

INCREDIBLE EXPLODING LIT FORMS!! WRITING IN AND FOR A CHANGING WORLD

An 8-week workshop to help writers explore the rapidly changing world of print media as well the array of new possibilities available today including, of course, the internet.

In addition to sharing our writing, we will also explore different kinds of writing projects and how they can be adapted to the brave new world on line.

Evolving prose forms e.g. stories/novels/monologies/performance/memoirs/blogs/on-line/diaries/ezines/newsletters

Self-publishing options for writers: journals to websites to POD companies

Participants will be required to (a) complete a writing project by workshop’s end (b) share their writing and publishing ideas and experiences from week to week (c) develop a strategy for bringing it to life.

Criticism can and will be provided, on request — but this workshop is about CONNECTING. We will harness our creative intelligence to explore new ways of using writing for personal/social/spiritual growth.

Location: Montreal
8 sessions: $80
Through OCTOBER 2007
