A true story by playwright, Martin Moran. Actor, Peter Hayes, of Hearts and Eyes Collective revisits the memories of a childhood interrupted; it's a story told with sensitivity, artistry, wisdom and astonishing candour. An oft travelled and roundabout journey of guilt, remorse, blame and forgiveness, painstakingly nuanced in its recollections. A one-of-a-kind performance. http://www.montrealfringe.ca/en/spectacles/the-tricky-partPerformance by jem rolls:
This is British wit in a class all its own! A poetic and philosophical cosmic rant, taking in this century’s consumer culture, the environment, poverty and affluence, supermarket queues, consumer packaging, sliced bread, big box stores, God and/or the absence of, the evolution and fate of the human race…and of the planet. Jem Rolls scrutinizes what is most simple and mundane, and from it he excavates a universe.

Michael Walsh was on his way home to New York City when his plane was rerouted to Gander, Newfoundland on September 11, 2001. In a performance that’s riveting as well as entertaining, he offers a moment-by-moment recollection of the ‘backstory’ to those momentous few days. Walsh is a great impersonator of the people he met during that time ‘in between.’ It’s a page in history, recreated as personal and collective theatre. http://montrealfringe.ca/en/spectacles/between-takeoff-and-landing
A modern-day mirror-image remake of Shakespeare’s classic, Macbeth. Superbly acted, full of suspense, mystery and intrigue. http://www.montrealfringe.ca/en/spectacles/beth
