This book is intended for those who, in these difficult times, question the very meaning of existence and the troubling events of our era, without reaching a satisfactory conclusion. September 11, 2001 was the opening salvo of a series of events, destined to usher in a global system that will provide solutions to the myriad problems affecting mankind. After providing a fleeting respite, however, it will go on to inflict horrendous evil.
In the aftermath of a catastrophe, it is beneficial for a nation’s people to recite the twenty-third Psalm; yet it is far preferable that they should live in such fashion that these catastrophes do not occur. God did not refrain from saving a handful of souls during the destruction of Sodom. However, His Son has said that, unless we change our hearts, we will perish like the people of the Galilee (Luc 13, verses 1 to 5).
