Luz Garcia de Zielinski est une artiste multidisciplinaire diplômée en arts visuels à l’UQÀM. Depuis quelques années, elle expose à plusieurs endroits en solo ou en collectif avec le groupe Empreintes d’artistes, dont elle est l’actuelle présidente.
Luz a fait de la recherche et de l’animation à la radio (Radio Centre-Ville) et elle a une émission intitulée L’art et la créativité dans la vie à la télévision Frontenac. Elle a déjà été actrice au cinéma, mannequin de haute couture dans des défilés de mode et journaliste, à Terra Nova et Le Directorio Comercial entre autres.
Le projet duquel elle est le plus fière est la Galerie-Café L’Oreille de Van Gogh dont elle a été la copropriétaire et cofondatrice. Plusieurs projets ont vu le jour grâce à son implication et elle est également coordonnatrice, organisatrice et animatrice d'activités.
Son émission « Couleurs d’ici » passe à chaque mercredi à 19h00 à VOX, chaîne 09

A book about food safety told through personal narratives so that complicated issues are made easier to understand and apply to one's own life.I never thought a book about potatoes could be so interesting and informative. The story (and this does read as a story) about the history and exploitation of potato farming left me stunned. Its scope goes far beyond the potato. It sheds light on modern farming and the dangers of capitalism when money is more important than the well being of communities.

The other four appear in the literary magazine Maple Tree Literary Supplement. On May 4, 2010 she interviewed McGill Emeritus professor David Lank who was awarded the Order of Canada in 1996. She also interviewed three Canadian authors: Steven Manners, Michael Mirolla, and Len Gasparini. Mirolla's and Gasparini's interview are scheduled to appear in Bibliosofia on July 1st and September 1st respectively. In the fall she'll be working as the Assistant Editor for Writers and Authors online magazine. She has edited two books for Garev Publishing International.

Africville, Nova Scotia, built over generations, destroyed in one day. This Governor General Award nominated play will be a staged reading by professional actors. Africville, situated in Halifax’s north end peninsular – First settled by Black refuges of the war of 1812 - became the home of Halifax’s Black community well into the 1950’s. Denied the basic amenities such as water, power and sanitation, it was still home until the bulldozers arrived and the residents were relocated to public housing. Consecrated Ground exposes the tragedy of Africville in the 1960s, which still resonates with the people of Halifax today. George Boyd, one of Canada’s great story tellers, paints a rich, human portrait of a family and a community fighting for their place in a world constantly looking to evict them.

To escape, he disguises himself and adopts the identity of a Jewish Düsseldorfer, Jaakob Kesselmann, which qualifies him for a permanent visa to Argentina where Nazis and Jews with capital are welcome. The Captain is always on guard to conceal his true identity which haunts him all his life, while a silent nemesis lies in wait for him.
This epic reveals the struggle to survive in a culture of upheaval, which is the central issue of our times: the impact of war and corruption upon the ordinary citizen who must live in a spiritually ruined world.
