Cat's first solo show Sea Peach was launched in tandem with a cd/book from conundrum press of the same name, featuring interlinked story-rhymes with soundscapes by DJ Jack Beets. Sea Peach was first staged in 2002 the Bain St. Michel, an abandoned swimming pool, and won the MECCA, (Montréal English Critics Circle Award, for Best New Text 2003. The show continued to tour festivals internationally, from Volapük, Oslo to the Yukon Story-telling Festival, Whitehorse to Singapore and Edinburgh Festivals Fringe. Her long-awaited first novel
