  • Andy Brown’s conundrum press will be launching Catherine Kidd’s long-awaited first novel “Missing the Ark” on Friday April 27 at the Delta Hotel at 7 pm. Free admission.

  • Véhicule Press is launching “Language Acts: Anglo-Quebec Poetry, 1976 to the 21st Century” at 8 pm on Friday April 27. David Solway, David McGimpsey, Lianne Moyes, Victoria Stanaton, will discuss Anglo-Quebec poetry with “Language Acts” editors Jason Camlot and Todd Swift. Free event.

  • André Vanasse is hosting a round-table discussion “L’Esprit Anglo-Québécois” on Saturday, April 28, at 1:15 with Patrick Coleman, Gillian Lane-Mercier, Monique LaRue and Catherine Leclerc. There will be a $5 admission charge for this.

  • DC Books is having its 20th anniversary celebration and launch on Sunday April 29 from 12 noon to 1:30 pm, with Nicole Blades, Patricia Claxton, Peter Dubé, Marie Hélène Poitras, and Todd Swift. Publisher/author Steve Luxton will be on hand as well. Jon Paul Fiorentino will give a tribute to the late Robert Allen. Free admission, and all are invited to help celebrate this special anniversary.
