As a quarterly, Accenti will reprise its most popular features, with emphasis on lifestyle, culture, current affairs and social commentary. “Accenti is a vehicle for cultural expression and a voice for the Italian Canadian perspective,” said Accenti editor-in-chief Licia Canton.

Among the features in the new edition is a special section with select articles in Italian. “We want to expand our readership to include Italians and non-Italians alike who have an affinity for the Italian language,” said Accenti publisher Domenic Cusmano.

Accenti was launched online in November 2002 and in print in March 2003, with a run of 10,000. The cover price is $8.00; a four-issue subscription is $30. The combination subscription price for Accenti Magazine and Accenti Online is $35. A full-page advertisement is $1,500. Ads can be bundled in the magazine, web site and events sponsorships. Approximately 30% of Accenti readers are of non-Italian origin, while 90% are university educated and above average income earners.

Upcoming public events include an exhibit of Accenti artwork in Montreal, Toronto and Vancouver, as well as the Accenti Writing Contest Awards Presentation at the 8th Annual Blue Metropolis Montreal International Literary Festival.
